Laparoscopy: Laparoscopy, a term that is quite famous nowadays in the healthcare industry is basically a surgical diagnostic procedure used to examine the organs inside the abdomen. Laparoscopy is getting popular as it gives minimal invasion and scars after treatment.

Appendicitis

At any point in life, inflammation of the appendix can occur which is known as Appendicitis. If Appendicitis is not taken seriously, the chance of bursting the Appendix increases, and infection can spread to other organs also.

Hernia

Hernias are not life-threatening but it is suggested to remove through laparoscopy to prevent dangerous complications. A hernia is a condition in which an organ pushes through an opening in the muscle or tissue that holds it in place.

Hysterectomy

When all the parts of the uterus are removed through an operation or surgery is called a Hysterectomy. The surgery is carried out by using laparoscopy as a technique.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is one of the painful diseases in which the endometrium (tissue that lines the inside of the uterus) emerges out of the uterus. In such cases, Laparoscopic surgeon use laparoscopy methods to cure the disease. Also to remove the ovarian cysts and tumors, through small incisions, surgeons perform laparoscopy surgery.

Cholecystitis

Laparoscopy Surgery is used to treat Cholecystitis which is an inflammation of the gallbladder. The gallbladder is an organ that helps your body digest fat.

Dr. Tarun Sapra explains that these are some of the conditions in which laparoscopic treatment is used. Laparoscopy surgery can also be used to treat fibroids, cancers, the removal of ovaries, and infertility issues.
